A new version of our Bluetooth File Transfer software for Android has been released: version number 3.95! It is now more compatible with Android 1.5/1.6 devices regarding the Bluetooth layer, like: DSTL1, IS01, Legend, and more. Unfortunately, some Dopod-branded devices are still not supported, but we are working on these bugs. Also the general stability of the software should now be extremely high, even if memory management on the Android OS is still a bottleneck. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) was improved a little more in order to speed-up common cut/copy/paste operations. File name collisions can be handled and full support to Zip, GZip and Tar archives is now implemented, for both compression and extraction. So, let's explain the major updates step by step...

A new version of our Bluetooth File Transfer software for Android has been released yesterday: it's now version 3.50! Many minor-but-tough bugs have been fixed and some new features have been added, like the ability to stream data via Bluetooth and thumbnails creation for audio/video files (expand the post to learn more). There are also minor changes on the user-interface, like on program settings, and a correct visualization of data dimensions using Kibibyte unit, a standard by IEC, instead of the old and abused Kilobyte. A new version of our Bluetooth File Transfer software for Android has been released yesterday: it's now version 3.20! A lot of cool features have been added like the ability to create a shortcut on the Android desktop with your preferred files, as you can see from the screenshots below (expand this post to view the screenshots). Also the ability to calculate the MD5 and CRC32 of files can be extremely useful on some situations, expecially with ROM files. Finally, the thumbnails are automatically created also by exploring in "list view mode", but the Bluetooth page still requires a manual switch to the "thumbnail view mode" in order to create thumbnails...
