Installation instructions


You must follow these instructions to completely remove any warning message, confirmation request or security exception from "Bluetooth File Transfer (J2ME)" software!!!

Install BlueFTP on your mobile phone (skip to next section if already installed)...

Transfer BlueFTP application to your mobile phone as usual, using Bluetooth, Infrared, USB cable or Internet installation (OTA - Over The Air). NOTE - You must transfer both JAD and JAR files to correctly install the application, so make sure both BlueFTP.jad and BlueFTP.jar files are sent!

Open application settings...

Go to "Applications > Games", or where you installed our software on your phone, and locate BlueFTP application from the list. From the "Options" menu, select "Application access" to start application configuration...

Set "Communication" permissions...

Locate Communication from the permissions list and then press "Select" button. Now, locate Connectivity from this list and then press "Select" button. Move to Always allowed entry in the list, then press "Select" button. Finally, a confirmation message should appear. Repeat previous steps also for Network access communication permissions...

Set "Data access" permissions...

Locate Phone access from the permissions list and then press "Select" button. Now, locate Read user data from this list and then press "Select" button. Move to Always allowed entry in the list, then press "Select" button. Finally, press "Accept" button when the message dialog appear. Repeat previous steps also for Add and edit data data-access permissions. BlueFTP was correctly configured and warning messages are now completely disabled!

Install BlueFTP on your mobile phone (skip to next section if already installed)...

Open application settings...

Send both BlueFTP.jad and BlueFTP.jar files from PC to your mobile phone, using Bluetooth, Infrared or USB cable. NOTE - You must transfer both JAD and JAR files to correctly install the application. When both transfers are completed, press "Show" button to view your inbox messages. Now, click over BlueFTP.jad file and press "Yes" button on the pop-up dialog to start the installation...

Open application settings...

Go to "Tools > Manager" and locate BlueFTP application from the list. From the "Options" menu, select "Suite settings" to start application configuration...

Set application permissions...

Locate Connectivity from the permissions list. Select "Change" from the "Options" menu. Now, click over Always allowed from this list, then press "Ok" button. Press "Ok" / "Yes" / "Accept" button into any security warning message (optional). Repeat previous steps also for Read user data, Edit user data and Network access permissions. BlueFTP was correctly configured and warning messages are now completely disabled!

Transfer BlueFTP application to your mobile phone as usual, using Bluetooth, Infrared, USB cable or Internet installation (OTA - Over The Air). NOTE - You must transfer both JAD and JAR files to correctly install the application, so make sure both BlueFTP.jad and BlueFTP.jar files are sent! Go to "Tools > File manager" and locate BlueFTP.jad and BlueFTP.jar files, they must both resides on the same folder; files are in the "phone memory > Other" folder in the example. Click over BlueFTP.jad file and press "Yes" on the pop-up dialog to start the installation...

Open application settings...

Go to "Tools > Application manager" and locate BlueFTP application from the list. From the "Options" menu, select "Suite settings" to start application configuration...
